These systems are used in industry, hospitals, commerce, and retail applications to quickly, quietly and safely transport orders, documents, files, paper, medications, lab samples, quality control samples, tools and cash both vertically and horizontally. Generally these are 75, 100, 150 mm, (3, 4 or 6 inches) in diameter. These are point to point systems. Pneumatic Tube Systems are installed following building lines.
The system size referred to is the outside diameter of the tubing - for example 3 inch system uses 3 inch I.D. tubing. It is not a carrier dimension.
